glimpses of nature

I had the pleasure of attending a workshop by Eddie Soloway this past weekend: it was just what i needed.  I am brimming with thoughts, images and emotions.  Here are some glimpses of the start of a series that i will be developing.  More to follow…. ;D

inspiring

i started out the new year giving a private photo class…..it was so inspiring!  i really enjoyed meeting melinda, i melted at the way her baby stared at me and i loved the strong coffee that accompanied the ‘classroom’ portion of our 2 hours together.  then we bundled up and hit the street to practice our craft.  i love these intimate workshops and the reward of helping clients learn to ‘see’ ;D

gratitude attitude

thanks to everybody who supported me this year in my photography, it was a great year!  i look forward to growing even more this coming year and to sharing the world as i see it here with you.  i’m also offering a 20% discount on my one-on-one photography classes if you book before the end of the year.

this engagement session seriously warmed the cockles of my heart: walking behind them as they quietly laughed together, seeing them looking at one another with genuine enjoyment of the other’s company left me feeling warmed to my bones despite the chilly day  ;D

welcome tejas rae!

 What a treat to watch families grow and change!  This little man was recently born into this beautiful family and it was wonderful to be able to capture him in all his newness.   Photographing one of life’s amazing transitions + that tender time of being welcomed into the fold of family = super sweet ;D.
